Fox Studio Returns To It's Roots By Celebrating It's 100th Anniversary In Fort Lee, NJ

A formal exhibit reception was held on May 12th, 2015. Fox studio founder William Fox's Granddaughter (Barbara Fox Bordiga) and Great Granddaughter (JoAnn Fox-Weingarten) as well as Fox News Director of Development Clay Rawson (who brought the Fox family to our reception) were our guests of honor. Mayor Mark Sokolich presented Fort Lee Film Commission's 2015 William Fox Award to Barbara Fox Bordiga, JoAnn Fox-Weingarten and to Clay Rawson. On behalf of the The Fort Lee Film Commision, artist, Tom Austin presented his painting to the Fox Family titled Fox Studio, Fort Lee, NJ 1915. 

Among our guests were Fort Lee Mayor Mark Sokolich and Fort Lee Council Persons Harvey Sohmer, Mike Sargenti and Ila Kasofsky, Bergen County Cultural & Affairs Director Cynthia Forster as well as members of the Fort Lee Film Commission and Fort Lee Historical Society. The Fort Lee Film Commission mounted this exhibit and it includes material from the Film Commission archive as well as archival photos and artifacts on loan from collectors such as film historian Joe Yranski and organizations such as Fox News.
